Finding Never land in this Wonderland

Why is a raven like a writing desk? the question of a lifetime. Dose one think of a movie, or a book? A bird, or a carving? A peace of furniture, or an empty canvas? There are many things to think about, one of them being this. Is the raven like the writing desk because it was sprinkled with fairy dust and that is what the Writhing desk was made of? is the writing desk like the raven because it is made of wood as black as a ravens feathers or an evil queen's heart? Or is it simply that a raven and a writing desk are alike because in the past someone wrote on them both - about the bird, and atop the desk?

That is what thinking brings. questions. and who better and wiser to ask such questions - finding the answers all their own - then a child?

Exploring, Dreaming, Seeking, Wandering - things that are wishes of "Adults", not wanting to grow up. Never knowing what will wait for them in the end. Never wanting to live with the burden of knowing what is in the world.
Hoping for the time to come again where the man with the dog, walking on the sidewalk, is not a suspect of dangers. Hoping for the time again where the young man with darker skin and a different lifestyle can walk on the street with out being yelled at for something that was not his doing at all - but the doing of someone, so vial and cynical, with close minded ideals.

Finding Never land is what everyone wants to do. Though they know full well of the evils that lurk in that Wonderland of sorts.

So why cant the raven be like the writing desk simply because a child-like-grown-up wants it to be?
